I've seen it all, and motivated to share what I see.

Living in Texas, the largest supplier of oil and gas in the 48 states, I've become curious about how America competes with imported oil and meets our energy needs. Contributing photographer to Basin Oil & Gas magazine, and won several Lone Star Awards in 2010 from the Houston Press Club. Working with digital images since selling the camera bag business in 1991, I moved to Texas to be the Sunday photo editor and imaging specialist at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Along with raising 2 kids, I also wrote a weekly column about successful entrepreneurs, "Business Strategies."  Leaving to be an entrepreneur, I launched TexPix Publishing in 2010, focusing on postcards showing Texas landmarks and sold to gift shops, resorts, and museums to help visitors better remember their visit.
